P84 is a high temperature resistant synthetic fiber. It can be continuously exposed to 240 degrees Celsius. P84 fibers are made of a polycondensation polymer and are resistant to hydrolysis. P84 is a three-leaf petal-shaped fiber, which provides an effective medium to trap particles because of its increased surface area. Therefore, P84 is one of the most effective synthetic fibers. P84 is non-thermoplastic. When glass fibers can not withstand the wear of pulse ash cleaning, P84 is used to replace glass fibers. It works best when chemicals or water do not exist. But P84 will be corroded by both acid and alkali.
